Overview

Get out and ride in the Alaskan Boreal Forest! Traveling at speeds up to 30 mph, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archaeological dig sites while navigating tree rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour. You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. Tackle the terrain in a single-rider ATV or share the thrill in a multi-passenger side-by-side ATV. Trails are challenging for all experience levels. Total tour covers about 20 miles with 2½ hours on the trails.

ATVs were in good condition. You would probably get around 1 hour of driving out of 3.5 hours. Staff people are a bit tight-***. They won't let you step on any stone they have not touched. Pretty much not an experience you would want when you say we are going for off the road adventure.

Wes, Mac, and JDot our guides did an outstanding job at making the trip a great experience. We experienced the microclimates of the area, learned about the mine reclamation, history of the area, and the thrill of ATV action. A lot of fun, great humor and wildlife sightings as a bonus ( hare and moose). My wife and I would highly recommend it for individuals, couples, and families. Bob the driver was also a great source of info about the area. I felt like I was invited to an ATV ride with a bunch of friends. Had a total blast.

Chris was our guide for our private ATV tour and he made our tour very fun, yet geared to our interests. Though we didn’t get to see any wildlife (no fault of Chris’), we had beautiful views, and fun.
