Denver Graffiti Tour

Overview
Denver Graffiti Tour is a 2-hour walking showcase of Denver's best murals and street art (and some of the best in the country). Learn the story behind the art and how the rapidly changing RiNo neighborhood has affected the art and its long-time residents. Whether visiting Denver for the first time or a Mile High native, you'll see the street art and this neighborhood in a new light.

We end at the Denver Central Market, a gourmet food hall where you can eat or drink at one of the 10 eateries.

(Oh, and we offer custom times and private tours. Inquire by email or phone.)

Guided Tour
Additional Info
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Service animals allowed
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The majority of the walking tour is paved. There are one or two sections that may go over hard-packed dirt. And we also go down an alleyway for a few blocks that sometimes has debris and/or glass. We have had many strong people in wheel chairs on the tour with no problems, but those in wheel chairs without a lot of strength may find it difficult in certain sections.
What To Expect
1
RiNo Art District
Tour-goers will be guided on foot through the RiNo Art District to see some of the best murals and street art in the country. We'll stop at anywhere from 20-30 pieces, but you'll see nearly 100. (And we love questions about all of it.) We'll also stop to discuss the neighborhood's rapid change has brought new hip businesses but also contributed to the displacement of long-time residents ... and has had an effect on the art. We'll end at Denver Central Market (about a 1/2 mile from the start) where you can grab food or drink from any of the gourmet food hall's 10 restaurants.

Denver Graffiti tour was well worth the two hours and about two mile walk with stops at great examples of street art Loved seeing the area and learning about the artists and their art. The tour guide who was one of the owners of the business was knowledgeable about the artists, having interviewed many of them. She told interesting stories and seemed like she was having a good time telling them. If you are interested in seeing a different side of Denver and learning about street art and how it is reflecting this changing city I recommend this tour.

We toured with one of the owners, who was super knowledgeable about Denver history and the graffiti art. Our tour guide was funny and engaging with the audience. I loved learning more about the art and the graffiti art pieces themselves are amazing.

Thanks for the kind words, Genieva! We love sharing the art and the story of the neighborhood (the good and the bad). And it's always great to have folks out who are excited about experiencing it as well. Cheers!

Denver Graffiti created a magnificent expedition surrounding the street art in RINO and Five Points. They did an incredible job of not only sharing the stories behind all of the artists, but also integrating an important awareness surrounding the ongoing gentrification of Five Points and RINO and how painful this has been for the families and citizens who have been displaced from their homes and businesses after living there for generations. Check out this tour if you want to support both the artists and honor the historical significance of these important and beautiful neighborhoods. This is a great tour for couples, families, or individuals! A great idea for a date, a tourist activity, or just something exciting and new to explore as a Denver resident. You could easily go out to eat at an awesome RINO restaurant afterwards and make a whole day of it!!! Awesome experience!

It is so gratifying to read your review, Sarah. Thanks for the thoughtful words. We have tried our best to provide the most honest story of what's happening down there -- both in the beautiful art and also about the gentrifying forces changing that area. To hear that what we sought to express translated so well to you means a lot. Thanks again.
