Overview

Step aboard our most popular tour as your Segway experience begins with personalized training by our expert Segway guides where instructions are a breeze as you learn to effortlessly glide on your very own Segway Personal Transporter.

We then glide along around the Honolulu Zoo – and might even catch a glimpse of a giraffe or zebra – and around historic Kapiolani Park, created by King Kalakaua and stockholders originally as an exclusive residential district that included a horse track in 1876. It was named for Queen Kapiolani, King Kalakaua’s wife.

We then glide up Diamond Head Road – riding the ‘face’ of Diamond Head Crater and take in the stunning estates as you approach the historic Diamond Head Lighthouse and the Amelia Earhart Lookout. We arrive the lookout with its panoramic views of Koko Head Crater, Molokai and Maui Islands in the distance, and the surfers below and the Leeward Coast of Oahu. We then pick up the Queens Beach Promenade gliding to the Duke Statue at the end.

It is recommended that guests wear comfortable shoes (flip flops or sneakers), light-casual clothes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. We will have a cold bottle of water for all guests while on tour, and don't forget your cell phones/cameras, because you’ll have many stops at scenic points to take photos!
Minimum age to ride Segway is 10
Minimum weight requirement is 75 lbs / 36 kilos.
Maximum weight requirement is 270 lbs / 136 kilos.

We had to audible and do a different tour. BUT it was really fun and totally different than I expected. It was nice going to a less crowded area and exploring things we never would have if we didn't go on this tour! Highly recommend and they have great communication!

A few days before our tour, they called and said the Diamond Head tour hq was not available and gave us the option to switch to Magic Island glide. We were first time segway users, so the Magic Island path was actually wider and had less people which was better for us. Our tour guide, Michael, was very educated in the physical pathway we took (especially since we were beginners), always kept watch on us for our safety, and was educated in the Magic Island/Kaka'ako area. He also helped take pictures for us which is always appreciated. Lots of beautiful views and good segway experience.

We are delighted you agreed with us that our Magic Island Glide was good for you and we think it is our best tour since it takes you through Honolulu's three in-town beach parks of Magic Island, Ala Moana Regional Park and Kaka'ako Waterfront Park with her stunning views and all three parks are all along the waterfront - something you cannot do in Waikiki since all the hotels block the beachfront. The tour was changed to magic island instead of diamond head. It’s still a great experience. The beach is beautiful and very less pedestrian.
