First piece of advice: Avoid that feminine colored jeep company.
Book your adventure with: SAFARI Jeep. This is the way to go and explore this beautiful out land.
I had my dog with me and when I asked the girly (think pink) company about bringing my dog with me, the in-person response was: "the dog has to fit in a carrier, remain in a carrier and can only be brought on if other guest don't mind". WTF!
Safari whole heartedly welcomed me and my furry companion!!! This company is LOCALLY owned and operated, which means that they don't have the cold and impersonal policies and people like the pink company.
Our guide was "Doc" and he was AMAZING!!! He stopped and picked up some else's trash in an effort to preserving this beautiful space. He also waived a friendly hand to the girly colored jeeps, who essentially thumbed their noses at us (how rude!).
Doc stopped the jeep to show us the red "paint" that natives used from Cochineal, described how pine nuts are harvested, discussed Juniper Gin and so much more. This tour is not for the faint of heart (or even girly colored jeeps) as it is very much off road for the adventure seeker.
