What To Expect
1
Table Rock Dam
We will see the dam from the river side and the lake side. We also see and talk about the Shepherd of the Hills Trout Hatchery.
2
College of the Ozarks
Find out why C of O is so dearly beloved by the people of the Ozarks, as well as people from all over the world. This school has been visited by Presidents, First Ladies, Prime Ministers, Military Leaders, etc. You will LOVE the stop we make at The Keeter Center, too. Enjoy coffee, ice cream, baked goods, shopping and talking to the C of O students you will meet.
3
Shepherd's Adventure Park
See where tourism REALLY began in Branson. The catalyst of tourism to Branson, was due to the worldwide success of the book, "Shepherd of the Hills" by Harold Bell Wright. This stop is literally the property that the book was written and written about! (It's also a restroom stop! Hehe!)
4
Hollister
You will love this quaint little Old English Village, with its Tudor style architecture, fun shops, galleries and restaurants. Find out how the railroad "turned this town around!" The Downing Street District is a place you will want to return to for some unique shopping and dining options!
5
Branson
Downtown Branson, on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, is where Reuben Branson and his wife, Mary, built the Branson General Store, around 1881, and the town had been growing and changing ever since. You will see several shops and restaurants in the historic downtown district. Like Hollister, this is a place you will want to come back to after the tour is over. No franchise restaurants or retail shops in this district. However, Branson Landing Mall, is just down the hill and across the railroad tracks. So you can shop old and new!

We had a marvelous tour of the city and surrounding area. Well worth our time and money. The guide (Bob?) was so knowledgable and personable. Just can't say enough good things about it. He recommended the historical novel "Shepherd if the Hills" by Harold Bell Wright. Excellent read.

No matter if you take this tour on the first day of your visit to Branson (highly recommend it however) or the last day-just be sure and GO! Bob, a Branson treasure, knows from first hand experience (take trip and find out why) all there is to share about the 'good old days' in Branson and what to do and see now. After going on the three + hour tour in a very comfortable 18 passenger Mercedes van I felt more connected to what Branson was all about.

Thanks Bob, the tour was GREAT! Loved all the history of Branson and the College of the Ozarks, WOW. Appreciated all the tips on the shows and where to EAT. This is a must do tour even if you have been to Branson before, worth ever minute. Bob, if you are ever in Cajun Country (not Shreveport), we would love to return the kindness. Lafayette has a food tour I think you would like. GOD, Guns & Gumbo.....
