A really fun way to see St. Augustine. My wife & I enjoyed this area very much. The trolley back was driven by a really nice and funny and knowledgeable gentleman who goes by the name of ā€œThe Preacherā€. We would recommend this trip to anyone whoā€™s never been.

Would have given this a 4 except Diana at stop 14 didn't give us all the tickets we needed to get into the extra attractions I paid for. Molly at stop 1, Old General Store Museum helped us out so we could access everything. Pappy our bus driver was outstanding and so was trolley gal, Pepper. Great way to get around!!

Ride with somebody else. Use the Little Red Train or join the character that drives around a Ford Model T woody, pastimetours.com. I gave Old Town a "2" when they really deserve a "1" doing so because Old Town Trolley in Savannah is great! St. Augustine is another story. After thought, I'm reducing the rating back to a one. First, this is supposed to be fun. The woman at the main station ticket counter was like a marine sergeant handing out clothes to a new recruit, abrupt and curt. When I called once to ask where the stop was at the fort, again that woman also was rude and unhelpful. Second, they started out over $100 for two, two-day tickets which we ended up getting for about a third less, so checking with people we met, we found pricing to be all over, depending on how green you are. So when Old Town Trolley says the next one will be here in 15 minutes or less, forget it, it won't. At one stop we waited for 34 minutes, while two training trolleys passed by, along with a couple of charter trolleys. The driver/guides are a toss-up. Some are very knowledgeable, and some are not, giving different stories on the same tour item. And who wants to come to a Southern town and hear a Bronx accent? Not me. The actual stops used to be about more historical buildings and facts. It's about who is paying Old Town to stop at their business. That's where the stops are, totally different from a few years ago. Lastly, the ride is not comfortable. Seats are tight and cramping, and Old Town has not invested in shocks and struts, and yes we allowed for the brick, cobblestone streets. So in advance of the old Covid Crutch excuse, reality is, if you take my money, then you need to deliver the promise. Old Town, you failed.

Hello Frank, We are sorry you were disappointed in our tour. We offer a satisfaction guarantee located on the customer service page of our website, trolley tours dot com, under the subheading "our guarantee". By way of explanation, our two-day trolley access tickets are $49.91. However, we do offer a one-day tour ticket for $34.31. We also offer a variety of tours and attractions, that may be combined with a trolley ticket purchase, for a reduced rate which addresses your concern with pricing. Our CASTmembers are trained be both helpful and hospitable. We are sorry this was not your experience. Be assured we offer suggestions to meet the individual guest's needs. Historic Tours of America has owned and operated Old Town Trolley Tours in St. Augustine for over 20 years. Our stops have remained the same each year. They are mandated by the city due to the size of our vehicles. Our guides are provided over 150 points of historical interest that are to be used in their tour. Clearly your guide opted to deviate from the script, and I apologize. We are glad you enjoyed your tour in Savannah. I have forwarded your comments to the General Manager for his review.
