We splurged and got the 2 day hop on and off. I’m glad we did, although we walked a lot, we decided to hop on the trolley on the second day and take it to the end. It was POURING and we didn’t have raincoats. What a treat it was when they handed us free ponchos!! Ali Cat was amazing and super informative our tweenagers even said it was the best. Would definitely recommend!

Drivers shared interesting historical facts but were difficult to understand. We recommend only parking at main site by museum and jail. Very difficult to get a shuttle back to our car at other parking lot. Took close to an hour with several shuttles passing us by. Trolley car is difficult to board for older or challenged folks and they don’t run enough so they are packed. The only time we could sit together was when we boarded at station 1. After that we always had to jump into any available seat and were separated forced to sit with strangers during COVID. Several riders weren’t wearing masks. When we asked a seat mate to please wear one he said ā€œI don’t have to I am vaccinatedā€. No one to assist driver with enforcing mask mandates. The only sanitation was at station 1 but not between stops and there are around 23 total. At some stations the trolley was so full that none of the waiting people could even board. Doubt I would ever do this again. Not worth the money for all the aggravation.

Enjoyed the ease of getting around St. Augustine the week before Easter as the city was very crowded. Learned a lot of history from the driver and enjoyed the attractions he pointed out. However, we were afraid to get off at any of the stops because there were a lot of customers waiting to board the trolley at all of them & we didn't want to be left waiting for a follow up trolley that wasn't full as it was very ho outside. Also the bench seating was very uncomfortable due to the severe straight backs of the trolley cars it was so along time to sit without getting out to stretch our legs.
