Discover the Catalina Island Casino

Overview
Take a trip down memory lane to the days when bands were big and movies were just beginning to talk. The Catalina Casino epitomizes everything glamorous about Santa Catalina Island. You'll see the extraordinary Art Deco murals and a classic 1929 pipe organ inside the Avalon Theatre, which still shows nightly movies on its massive screen. A short film is shown highlighting the history of this iconic building and its Hollywood connection. This tour requires uphill walking inside the casino.

It was amazing, my grandma and I went on the twilight tour and we just had the best time. Our tour guide Rebecca was fun, energetic, and very knowledgeable about the casino. Over all this was a great way to learn more about Catalinaā€™s history and get to know some interesting people in your group! The only thing I wish there was is some other drink options instead of wine for those who are under 21 on the tour, maybe some sodas or something. But over all it was wonderful!

This landmark on Avalon Bay is definitely a must see! Truly a one of a kind, beautiful, historic building! On the top floor is the GRAND BALLROOM, which is very impressive! From there you can step out onto the balcony that runs around the building and overlook the bay and Avalon, such a gorgeous view! Highly recommend, but you do have to walk up inclining ramps to get to the top level.

Our guide was informative and the tour was great! Highly recommend if you want a good history of Wrigley and the island as well.
