Distillery Tour

Overview

Join us for a one-hour guided tour of J. Rieger & Co., Kansas City’s iconic distillery, located in the historic Electric Park neighborhood of the East Bottoms district. Discover the history of our brand, from its founding during the wild and raucous years when the city boasted “the wettest block in the world”, to its premature demise at the dawn of Prohibition, and eventual revival in 2014, nearly a century later.

Enjoy extensive access to each phase of the distillation process, from grain to bottle. The tour will conclude with a tasting of our four core products led by one of our knowledgeable guides.

The staff and the facility is fantastic. What a great place to have some cocktail's and relax. Also, you have to get an old fashioned; simply to die for.

Cool historic building. We met at the Monogram Lounge for a quick snack and happy hour before the tour. The lounge is beautiful and the food and cocktails were fabulous. The distillery tour was informative and fun. We learned a lot about Kansas City as well. Afterwards, we concluded our evening with a dinner at the Hey, Hey Club. The food was off the charts good! Super creative and delicious. The room reminded me of a speakeasy with a fantastic bar and the 3 piece band was great background music! I would recommend this place to anyone!!! Can’t wait to come back soon

10/10 Experience! Took my son for his 21st Birthday and we really enjoyed it. Thomas made us feel right at home and made the tour super special. I love the history of The Rieger and enjoyed the Monarch Lounge and Museum as well. GREAT FOOD! Amazing Drinks!
