What To Expect

Everglades Safari Park

Take a luxury bus ride from Miami to Everglades National Park. There, you'll take a 30-minute airboat ride deep into the wetlands. After the ride, you'll want an alligator show and have some time to eat and explore the Park by foot. Food and snacks are available for sale. Remember to ask us for free bottled water, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, and kids safety ear muffs for the boat ride.

Enjoyed Key West. However, it was a very long day (7:30 am until 10 pm). First of all, it was not a luxury bus! We were packed In the bus like sardines. And, there was no WiFi or any place to even plug in a phone to charge. The guide had a heavy accent, and was hard to understand. Could not tell when he switched from English to Spanish. We were in Key West 6 hours. We were suppose to have unlimited water and sunscreen. However, we were never offered either one by tour guide. On the way to Key West, we stopped for 30 mins at McDonald’s for breakfast and a bathroom break. On the way back to Miami, we drove straight through (4hrsj without a stop for dinner. We got back to Miami around 10 pm! If we needed to use the restroom, we had to use the tiny, very hot, restroom on the bus, and were told to not do anything but #1!

We enjoyed our tour of the Everglades. We tried to jam a lot of things into our quick visit to Miami, so the 1/2 day option was perfect. We were picked up at a South Beach hotel at the EXACT time we were told to be there- don't be late. The bus and driver were both nice. We saw a few alligators while on the bus and a few more on the airboat. It was very exciting. The park and its facilities were clean. Some of the people on our tour went on an additional boat cruise when we arrived back in Miami. The driver brought them directly to their boat. The rest of us stayed on the coach to our drop off in South Beach. A VERY easy, stress free way to experience the Everglades.

Before going on a cruise my brother and I were looking for something different to do and found this activity online. The drive to the Everglades was supplemented by a recorded tour narration which was interesting. Once we arrived we were taken to the front of the line ahead of people who weren’t in a tour group so we didn’t have to wait. The airboat ride was FUN and our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw several alligators as well as numerous birds. A very enjoyable experience.
