Experience the thrill of riding in one of Alaska's oldest modes of transportation! The dogsled! Towns, villages and lifestyles were created using the traditional style dogs that you will meet while on your tour. Learn of the rich history of Chatanika from one of our guides while travelling through a beautiful boreal forest. This is a private tour you will be the only group here and we only have 2 tours slots a day to give each group ample time. This is a small family run business and you will be greeted and guided by an owner the entire time here.

Highly recommend as a must-do when visiting Fairbanks in the winter. The host was very knowledgeable and intent that our sledding adventure was a fun one, despite wind chills forecast to be -40 to -50. We already had lots of winter gear on, but she gave us some additional gear to ensure we were warm during our sled run. It was a lot of fun. I am so glad we were able to experience this. Location is about 30 minutes outside of town but even in winter an easy drive.

Tabitha’s vast knowledge and passion for her dogs and sport was infectious. She made the trip incredibly fun and will always be a top highlight tour for us.
