Experience the thrill of riding in one of Alaska's oldest modes of transportation! The dogsled! Towns, villages and lifestyles were created using the traditional style dogs that you will meet while on your tour. Learn of the rich history of Chatanika from one of our guides while travelling through a beautiful boreal forest. This is a private tour you will be the only group here and we only have 2 tours slots a day to give each group ample time. This is a small family run business and you will be greeted and guided by an owner the entire time here.

Great experience, lots of fun for the whole family! Our host was very knowledgeable, also made sure that we stayed warm during the sled ride.

The best part was the people on this tour. They knew everything about dog sledding and I even got the opportunity to partially drive one of the sleds as well as experiencing laying in one. The dogs were so big and fluffy and excited for oats and loved the interactions. The people take the best care with their dogs and I can’t wait to come back and do it again with even more friends!

We had a great experience. Everyone in our family got a turn to ride and stand in the back to 'help' drive. We had a ton of time plus we got to feed the dogs frozen salmon and they gave us a ton of local tips including camera settings for the northern lights.
