Experience the thrill of riding in one of Alaska's oldest modes of transportation! The dogsled! Towns, villages and lifestyles were created using the traditional style dogs that you will meet while on your tour. Learn of the rich history of Chatanika from one of our guides while travelling through a beautiful boreal forest. This is a private tour you will be the only group here and we only have 2 tours slots a day to give each group ample time. This is a small family run business and you will be greeted and guided by an owner the entire time here.

It was amazing doing dog sledding here! I would totally recommend it. It was a very personal experience, we got to pet the dog, drink hot chocolate, take a lot of pictures. Trust me you wont go wrong coming to this place

AMAZING! This is a must do adventure! Absolutely loved Howling Bay Kennels. Dog sledding was so much fun and the dogs were beautiful and energetic. It was fun learning about the dogs and seeing their personalities. It is obvious how much the owners love the dogs and their business. We lost a cell phone in the snow during sledding and they happily helped us find it. I will be going back next time I'm in Fairbanks!

If I have any friends coming to Fairbanks, I am going to recommend this tour company. Kevin and Tabitha are amazing and such great company. They are so knowledgeable and kind. The dogs are so playful and fluffy, they love pulling the sled and playing in the snow. They have all the gear needed for the two of us. I only wish I would have did our other tours with them during our stay but we prebooked elsewhere unfortunately. Their business is going to grow, they have a lot of future plans beyond the dogsledding. I highly recommend this tour!
