Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

This was on our must do list and it exceeded our expectations…even my 77 year old mom LOVED it!!! It was so much fun, our musher Matt was fabulous and answered so many questions we had about the sport and the dogs. His dogs were so friendly and adorable too! Next time we will do a longer ride…30 minutes was too short. Highly recommend this!

What a great experience! Our guide, Luther, was fantastic. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He takes very good care of his dogs which is very important to me. The business itself was very clean and the staff was extremely nice! Highly recommend.

This was amazing. First, Rod was so wonderful, answering all my questions about wildlife in Alaska. I didn't know it was Rod, but he was so kind to answer our questions about Alaska and life there. We got overalls, gloves if we needed them, and went to meet the dogs for our dog mushing. Our guide, Riley was so kind and wonderful! He participated in the Iditarod with the same dogs he was pulling us with. We pet them, and asked him a million questions. Do you see a theme. He was so kind, and willing to take our pics with the dogs, and on the sled. We loved the experience and would highly recommend. Thanks Riley! We learned so much. Also our group used Emma and Jimmy, and the group said they were great as well. Go to Rods, you will love it. Be prepared with Chena Hot Springs, not so great a place, and definitely do dog mushing with Rod and not Chena!
