Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

Loved the dog sledding experience! I went with Jimmy and his team and they were so amazing. I was able to learn about how he got into it and the type of training his dogs go through. You can see the love he has for each one of his dogs and the excitement the dogs have when they get to run again! Would definitely do again!

Dashing through the midnight boreal forest with a team of dogs in training for the Iditarod was like a magical rollercoaster. Hoarfrost glittered on the trees like diamonds and stars spilled across the sky like fairy dust. A golden crescent moon hung on the horizon. And the dogs howled and tipped with delight. But it was cold, even though we were layered properly and had hand and foot warmers. So warming up in an ice-fishing shanty on Chena Lake with reindeer sausage and hot cocoa came just in time. So did the Northern Lights, which arced above the treelined lake. My friend and I opted for the four-hour aurora tour. Our guide, Ron, enlivened the tour with facts about the landscape; flora and fauna; dog-sled racing; and the breeding, care, and lifestyle of raising Alaskan huskies as competitive sled dogs. This is an adventure for hardy souls. And I heartily recommend it.

My 4 hour aurora dog sledding trips are a unique experience from 10:00PM to 2:00AM. All trips are private and sell out quickly as we only take a couple people every night. Thank you for the review.

We went sledding with Jimmy and had a blast. The dogs are an impressive team, and it was great to be able to learn about the dogs and interact with them. Jimmy is obviously a great dog owner that really cares about his dogs. This was a great experience
