Our musher was Kristen Eckwright of Power Point Kennel. She was very knowledgeable and very engaging. We were able to interact with the dogs. We particularly enjoyed this since we have had Siberian Huskies as pets and know and love the breed. As part of the package with Rod's Alaskan Guide Service, we were issued the gear to keep us warm and dry. The personnel at Rod's were very friendly and helpful.

All of our Alaska Huskies are super friendly. On all dog sled adventures there is plenty of time to meet the pups and get great pics. Thank you for the review.

The entire experience was professional, fun and beyond our expectations! When we arrived, the process was totally organized. They had all the outer gear, made recommendations on our gear and got us out the door and to the sled. Our tour guide Joe was very engaging and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. In a couple weeks he and his team of dogs will compete in The Quest - when I heard that I knew we were with a first-class guide. We took a couple breaks along our ride where we petted and played with the dogs. We learned so much and had a blast!! (note - it was -25F during our trip and we weren't cold)

We ask all guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure with layered under clothing. We need time to outfit you with our (price included) warm outer layers. Thank you for the review.
