We were worried our experience would be cancelled due to the icemageddon. However, it was not! The tour guides and operators were warm, welcoming, and had cleared out trails in the thick snow (amazing job!). All the dogs including ones on my sled team were excited and ready to go. We stopped midway to take photos and pet our dog sled team. The cold and the sleepy morning light made this an unmissable experience. Do it!

Over Christmas we received rain and 3 feet of snow that almost shut down roads and many businesses. The guides worked hard to keep trails maintained to reopen soon as road travel was safe. Thank you for choosing Rod's Alaskan Guide Service.

Staff are friendly. We would do this again! Love the dogs! Although wish it could be a bit longer and if we can have a blanket capsule for warm. My fingers were very cold during the ride because I did not have the tight gloves.

Riley was a top notch musher and very knowledgeable in the area and mushing. He will be a future Iditarod champion! We look forward to following him in his career

Most of my mushers have or currently compete in the Yukon Quest or Iditarod competitions. I encourage all of guests to follow our mushers as their team of Alaskan Huskies compete in one of the worlds toughest races. Thank you for the review.
