We had an amazing mushing experience. Dinah was our guide. She was amazing. Her team was friendly. I would recommend this tour.

Cole was our musher. He was great with the two of us not so young ladies. He stopped half way through the ride to let us take pictures and pet the dogs. Rod had all of the warm gear that we needed to take the ride in the below zero temperatures. Call Rod directly before you book any of his experiences. Transportation is expensive and he will give you a better alternative. I highly recommend any of the experiences that Rod's Alaskan Guide Service offers.

This was a last minute addition to our Alaska travel itinerary, and it was one of the best experiences we had! So glad we did it. The price was much more reasonable than the two other places I compared. I was initially concerned that the 30 minute sledding experience was not long enough,- but it was just the right amount of time for our family. The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly, and she gave us warm boots, bibs, and gloves to wear. Our guide Denver was great. She gave us lots of information about her dogs,- their mannerisms, how they are cared for, their histories, etc. The trail we took was beautiful. Rod's isn't too far from the Santa Claus House/Store in the North Pole, so we made a nice afternoon of doing both attractions. I would highly recommend Rod's.
