Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

Dog sledding was simply a phenomenal experience. You could tell the mushers loved what they were doing as well as their dogs. Cole and Joe were so fabulous. They were informative, knowledgeable and super kind. I loved conversing with them regarding the sled dogs. Rods is very lucky to have such great representatives of their company. I highly recommend this company. Ice Fishing- we absolutely had a blast. Aaron was an awesome guide. While I was not successful at catching a fish (this is not a reflection of them-I was terrible), I had a wonderful time trying. My family caught several. The cabin was awesome, the wood heat kept us warm. Aaron was patient and funny. It was amazing. He cooked us reindeer sausage and the fish that were caught which were delicious. He also watched for the aurora for viewing. We were fortunate enough to see the Aurora Borealis. It was freaking amazing. I would highly recommend Rods service to anyone hoping to enjoy an Alaskan excursion. super professional. Experience of a lifetime.

This is a wonderful experience - riding a sled pulled by these amazing hard working dogs. It is definitely worth your time and money. We enjoyed the day trip and the night aurora viewing. If you are in Fairbanks this is a must do!!!!
