We booked Rod’s for a dog sledding adventure and the guided snowmobile tour. Both experiences were absolutely phenomenal. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. The experience was everything we had hoped when we were booking our Alaskan adventure. We would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Fairbanks. Top notch!

Had a great time on this trip. Kiki, our musher, was a great guide. She commanded the dog team with great skill, and was knowledgeable and friendly. When you arrive, they have the necessary cold weather gear. I'm a big guy, and often when I do these kinds of tours, they have a hard time fitting me with any specialized gear. Not so at Rod's. The cold weather suit fit perfectly. Once you're geared up, you get on the sled and you're off. A beautiful trip through the woods. At first I thought that 30 minutes might be a bit short, but... yeah, it's cold and at the end of the trip, you're ready to come inside. But the highlight of the trip is the dogs. They are lovable. We could have spent hours just playing with the dogs! Highly recommend this experience! Greaet for couples and families, including young kids and teens

I highly recommend this tour! I took the 2 hr private/package so I could learn about mushing; it was just the "musher" and me. Cole was the musher and he amazed me with his vast knowledge of the dogs (from their eating habits and training to their individual traits). Cole demonstrate great care for the dogs and made sure that I had the experience of mushing that I was looking for. Cole was excellent! Again, I highly recommend this activity. Rev. William Bartoul

All of my dog sledding adventures come with an experienced musher with a vast knowledge of their 4-legged friends. Longer tours allow us more in depth knowledge we can share. Thank you for the review.
