Dolphin Adventure in The 10,000 Islands Wilderness Preserve

Overview
We at Dolphin Research Tours have reinvented the ecotour.

We provide real expertise.
We have been studying the dolphin communities in southwest Florida for 16 years. No other tour can provide as thorough an understanding of the local dolphins.

We respect the wildlife.
Coastal dolphins are under increasing pressure from human interaction. On a Dolphin Research Tour, you are part of the solution, not part of the problem.

We engage kids.
Kids are not just along for the ride. We've developed a fun 'citizen-science' activity for children that lets them be a scientist for the day.

We give back.
During each trip we collect sighting data for The Dolphin Study, a non profit working to protect Marco Island's dolphins.

Kent and Robin provided an excellent eco tour for our 3 generations. They have many years of experience here on Marco Island and the children especially enjoyed their first boat trip.

First and foremost, Kent and Robin run a wonderful, fun, and educational trip, all in the comfort of a small group. We as a family willingly chose and happily ventured out on a cloudy day. Our trip was shortened due to rapidly moving inclement weather that became more apparent once our trip had started. That being said, in the 1 hour trip, we saw 2 dolphins and learned about dolphins and the surrounding ecosystem. Kent and Robin were both professional and kind with personal attention to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Seeing lots of dolphins and identifying them. Friendly and knowledgeable crew. Karen and I loved it. Kent and Robin are the best guides ever!
