It was a lot of fun! I have never been paddle boarding before and it was a very scenic. Although we did not get to see dolphins or manatees, the guides found other sea life to show us like a giant conch, jelly fish, and a stingray. They also took us to a good spot to find shells and through some mangroves

Overall, the experience was worthwhile. However, I felt like we spent $65 for a paddle board rental, rather than all of the things listed in the ad/details. We did not see any sea life as advertised, which was not the disappointing part to us as we understand that so much of that depends on the weather and water temps. We did not go to the beach and see sea shells as advertised, and we were told the reason for that was the other people in our time slot struggling with their kayak and the guides had to spend such an extensive amount of time with them that our experience had to suffer and be limited. Within the text we receive the night before it mentions that we can lock up our phones and car keys (which worked great) because the guide will be taking plenty of photos throughout but we were most disappointed to find out that didn’t happen. I wish they would have advised or advertised that your own trip is so dependent on the others in that time slots ability to kayak and/or paddle board because we feel like we were striped of 2/3 of what was advertised because others unrelated to us had no idea how to kayak and ultimately us of the full experience. We expressed our disappointed to our guide, but seemed like there was no offer to fix it or make it up. Nick was very polite, but we didn’t have much opportunity to work with him as he spent most of his time assisting the kayakers who were inexperienced and needed extensive amounts of assistance. Jacob was very polite, helpful, and tried to share different things to look out for while going through in hopes we would be able to see more animals or have a better experience. He was also very motivational as this was a first time experience for me. Chase was not very social, and seemed irritated that the trip was not going perfect. When our group and the other group asked if he could take pictures (while we waited around for extended periods for multiple times waiting for the kayakers), he seemed irritated to be asked and advised that it would be done when we got to the beach and ā€œthere will be plenty of pictures taken there.ā€ However, we were never taken to a beach and never had other opportunities for pictures.

Nick was a fantastic tour guide with great energy and endless information about the wildlife and area! Very relaxing route to SUP and saw a couple of dolphins while we were out! We really appreciated Nick’s detail orientation to make this such a great day, a place to store our belonging while we were out and about picture at the end! Great way to spend an afternoon!
