Oliver, Capt. Mike, and the rest of the crew were professional, helpful, and committed to making sure everyone had a great experience. We saw dolphins shortly after taking off, which was fun, and then we got to snorkel with dolphins-about 15 dolphins about 10-20 feet below us. Very cool. We enjoyed the free time in the water at our second stop to snorkel, use the 20 foot slide, kayak and use the stand-up paddle board. The hula dancing was entertaining, and the food was delicious-especially after all that fresh air, adventure, and activity.

So this trip isn't bad, but it isn't the trip you really expect when you look at the pictures; as a young couple, let me tell you what we experienced: - Dolphins often swim deep underneath you. If you aren't an excellent swimmer that can dive down about 3 meters to reach them, then don't expect a single photo with them. - It's a pretty big group of people; when you are plunging your head under water to see the dolphins, you very well might get hit with someone else's flippers on your head or body. - There isn't a very authentic vibe to the trip. The staff are nice but they look like they have been repeating the exact same routine over and over for a long time; everything feels very planned and the staff's funny glances at one another give that away. - The burger they serve is good (with a pack of chips), but it's hardly enough to satisfy your hunger. - As they cook lunch, there are a few water activities to do, but bear in mind that the equipment is very limited so you probably won't get a canoe or a paddleboard (there are only 1 or 2 of each available). If you do get your hands on one, you might want to only use it for a bit as someone else may want to use it as well. On the bright side, the sights are great, the water, dolphins and sea turtles are beautiful, and the staff are adorable. It's a nice trip, but I felt like the above points are important to know before you go. It's an expensive activity after all and you deserve to know what it's like before buying a ticket.

Aloha Farah, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts from the experience. We're very glad you found the sights, dolphins and sea turtles beautiful. And we love that you found our staff adorable. But we are sad to hear that there were elements of your tour that were unsatisfactory. We care greatly about every person on our tours having a positive and memorable time. Whenever this is not the case, we like to reach out to you to talk about it. We can't find your name anywhere in our records, so please reach out to [email protected] so that we can get more information about when you were on board and what the circumstances were. It's especially concerning to us that you found our tour inauthentic. Authenticity and Hawaiian culture are points of pride for our tour. We were one of the first Hawaiian dolphin tours to bring on board a Kumu Hula to teach our full staff about the culture and help them share that with our guests. We cannot control how far the dolphins are beneath you, but we can assure you that there are days when they come very close and days when they are further away. They are wild animals, but we try to get the best view possible in the ocean. We also cannot control how other guests move in the water. We have asked the guides to include in their speeches in both languages notes on respecting personal space and water safety. We are even considering changing our fin brand so that the fins are softer, just in case any guests do accidentally bump another. Our boat is simply not big enough to bring enough water kayaks and SUP boards for everyone to have their own during the swim. Our crew tries to stay on top of making sure that everyone has a fair amount of time and is sharing. Luckily, our slide can usually be enjoyed by everyone on board during the second snorkel! We would like to talk with you more about your experience to see if we can't leave you with a better impression. We've shared your thoughts with all of our management, and we will continue working to improve and striving toward being Hawaii's best tour company. Mahalo and safe travels, Dolphins and You
