Uncle Bruce-y….enough said. We got on the bus after visiting the museum and only had a few stops until the end. We loved the energy and enthusiasm of Bruce that we grabbed a coffee and rode the last bus at 4pm just to get the full experience (which was well worth it). Being from a big city I’m not always a fan of the tourist traps but it was well worth it!!

Our driver and guide were very good. However, due to covid restrictions, which were not apparent on the website at the time we booked, the service is much reduced. We had paid for the red city bus at 12.00pm, anticipating that as it was stated that the last bus was due to run its 90 minute tour at 5.00pm, we would have 6.5 hours to ‘hop on and hop off’. We made our way to our nearest bus stop close to our hotel and had to wait from 1pm until a brown bus appeared at 2.15pm. We contacted the company who advised us that the buses were only running once an hour and the last bus was leaving the liberty bell stop at 4pm. An expensive 2 hours; poor communication and disappointing afternoon.

It was so much fun. The tour guide, a young African America was the best. Very knowledgeable, funny, intelligent and entertaining.
