I enjoyed being able to ride around the town and note places I intended to visit. I ended up only using one day on the bus, though I purchased two. The second day, I knew just where I wanted to go. All the duck, duck, duck was inconvenient and still, even with ducking I got a slap on the side of the face and shoulder that got my attention. Perhaps you could work with the city to get those trees trimmed since so much tourist $ comes into town.

The tour guides were exceptional; includes the two different buses we got on, as were the bus drivers. A lot was packed into the 1-1/2 hours and very glad we did the tour first followed up by the option to get on and off the bus. Never having been to Philadelphia before it was a great introduction. Allowed us to visit several attractions that same day.
