Double Decker Hop-On Hop-Off City Sightseeing Philadelphia (1, 2, or 3-Day)

Overview
Beginning at the Bourse Building right across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, plug into our multi-lingual headphone audio to discover the origins of America, where America’s Founding Fathers declared independence from England. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of such historic landmarks including the Christ Church Burial Grounds, Elfreth’s Alley, the Betsy Ross House, and Independence Hall.

As you head west, see the Friendship Gate in Chinatown, be amazed by the architecture of Philadelphia’s City Hall, and be sure to explore the various museums along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, including the Barnes Foundation – known as the world’s largest collection of post-impressionistic art in the world. As you continue your journey, marvel at Philadelphia’s growing skyline and get a bird’s-eye view from atop the One Liberty Observation Deck. Your loop finishes up after touring through the charming neighborhood of Society Hill and a drive along the banks of the Delaware River.

Bought two day passes. Everyone from sales reps to guides are fantastic! Hopped on and off quite a bit and heard quite a few of the different knowledgeable guides that know the history of Philly along with some personal stories and comments. Both days they were even kind enough to let us ride back to the buses night "depot" so that we didn't have to walk so far to our hotel.

Just back from my visit. I selected this company after reading reviews of the competition. I chose correctly. My tour started out with an amazing company ambassador by the name of Cherise, aka Charlie, aka Dancing Queen. Fantastic enthusiasm. Full of energy and happy happy! I was pleasantly surprised to learn this tour came with actual tour guides vs the standard headphones w/recorded audio. Shout outs to Michael, Warren and Chris (getting jiggy with it!). They were fab tour guides. Each had different tid bits to add to the main facts. Much appreciated. None of the buses I rode had AC on lower decks/inside. Riding up top is a must. Bring hats and sunscreen! If you ride the full loop with expectation of riding around again to begin hopping off, won’t happen. Because there are actual guides, speaking pretty much non stop for 60-90 minutes, they do take breaks at the end of their loop. You will have to get off and wait for next bus to roll around. This can be a bit annoying and time consuming. Use this time to grab a coffee/drink and use facilities inside the Bourse bldg (clean and free).

BE WARNED- Although it's a great way to see Philly, It was as if we were cooked alive. One bus out of THE ENTIRE FLEET had barely any air. It was unbearable to sit outside as the seats' railings were so hot it burnt the skin. I felt terrible for the wonderful employess who had to "happily" endure. For such a large and important business, it was obvious there where wide spread maintenance issues with the entire fleet of buses.
