Overview
Beginning at the Bourse Building right across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, plug into our multi-lingual headphone audio to discover the origins of America, where America’s Founding Fathers declared independence from England. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of such historic landmarks including the Christ Church Burial Grounds, Elfreth’s Alley, the Betsy Ross House, and Independence Hall.

As you head west, see the Friendship Gate in Chinatown, be amazed by the architecture of Philadelphia’s City Hall, and be sure to explore the various museums along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, including the Barnes Foundation – known as the world’s largest collection of post-impressionistic art in the world. As you continue your journey, marvel at Philadelphia’s growing skyline and get a bird’s-eye view from atop the One Liberty Observation Deck. Your loop finishes up after touring through the charming neighborhood of Society Hill and a drive along the banks of the Delaware River.

It was a good tour and Warren was a great guide. Only complaint was because of the weather we had to sit inside and you can't see out the windows because of the film on them kind of a bummer.

Had a great time! We started with the bus in the morning and hopped on/off all day long. One of our guides was better than the others... we rode the whole loop with him before beginning our hops. Guides do not follow same scripts and point out different sights. You'll travel at speeds that don't allow guides to go deep into detail about a sight, so it's nice to have a guidebook at hand. You'll also spot lots of sights that guides do not mention. Suggestion: tours should start earlier than 10am.

I've done a lot of city bus tours around the world and unfortunately, this one didn't live up to my expectations. The pick up points were not clearly marked. The bus windows were difficult to see through due to the advertisements adhered to the window. (It was too cold to sit up top.) The commentary was lack luster and sometimes hard to understand (sound system problem??) It was great to do a loop around the city on a cold blustery day and I did learn some interesting facts along the way so thanks for that. But it wasn't worth the price. Sorry guys, I have to give you a thumbs down. Give us a better view out the windows on the lower level, get the city to help you mark the stop points more prominently, hire guides with some voice training and maybe a bit less "sports announcer" qualities and train your staff who answer the phones which side of the street the bus picks up from at any given stop (yes... I was told to cross the street for pick up and eventually had to re-cross the same street when the bus arrived on the opposite side of the street.) and it might be a better experience.
