Philadelphia is beautiful, and we didn't know it until we took the bus ride around the city. We have been to Philly a number of times, starting from our door to door campaign for Barack Obama in 2008. But that was a different Philadelphia -- political and charged. This Philly we saw from the bus was serene and calm. The young guides were nice and friendly. Good trip, and thank you.

After we got our tickets we took the bus tour all the way around to get a feel for Philadelphia. It was excellent and definitely the best way to see Philly without having to try to navigate traffic yourself. Our guide on that all-around tour was absolutely wonderful. I wish all tour guides were as fun, humorous, and informative as he was. I just wish I remembered his name. The second time we were on the bus we hopped on and off after a few stops. The tour guide was okay. You could tell she was running out of energy (understandable considering the heat) and she sounded as if she was reading off a script- no big deal. The last time we were on the bus we had the absolute worst tour guide imaginable. WORST! I’ve never encountered someone so unprofessional. I was gobsmacked. I spent the entire time on the bus trying to figure out how he got hired. He was yelling out of the bus at people on the sidewalk. He jokingly shouted at visitors at the Rocky statue just to give them a scare (this also scared us on the bus). He told personal stores that in no way pertained to the sights we were driving by and consequently missed pointing out and discussing other sights. He even radioed down to the driver and asked if we could go off the route to view something else!! I seriously wondered if some random local just hopped on and started playing tour guide. I was actually frightened and wanted to get off ASAP. If I ever go back to Philly I won’t be taking this bus company solely to avoid that tour guide - he was unprofessional and terrifying. Thank goodness he wasn’t driving!!

Double decker bus is the best way to see and learn of the city. Tour guides are knowlegable and fun. If you ride the early bus 9AM, the bus then becomes a method of transportation to spots you want to check out in detail

I totally agree!! Im not just saying this because i work here..I am saying this as a previous customer. Why walk around when you can have someone else drive and give you a accruate narration on what your seeing!!! our tours are great no matter what time of the year. We use our vintage trollies in the Winter months!!!
