We had a great time today on our Philadelphia Sightseeing Tour!! Our tour guide Warren, is extremely funny and knowledgeable!! If you have time to take a tour, make sure you get on Warren's tour!!

I took this bus because I wanted a quick and easy way to see the sights in Philadelphia. It was easy access from the subway exit. The booth was right there. I paid for my ticket, after getting a $2.00 AAA discount. Within the next 20 minutes, the tour started. I saw all of the sites outlined on the map. Even though it was hop-on/hop off, the only time I got off the bus was to take a photo at the Rocky Steps.

I generally don't like guided tours but on this visit to Philadelphia I was having a problem walking so I thought a bus tour would be a good solution. It was, sort of. My enjoyment of the tour was seriously marred by the patter of the guides. I experienced three of them during the day and they all seemed to be from the same school of excessive overacting and exaggeration. My heart went out to the drivers who have to listen to that every day, all day long! While there were little nuggets of insider information dropped along the way, they didn't make up for the inanity of the chatter. In reading the other reviews I can see that I'm definitely in the minority so, as they say, YMMV (your mileage may vary).
