Overview

At Defiance Rafting, we expect our guides and their passengers to display perfect paddling form when rafting through the Class III–IV Shoshone Rapids. When they do, which is mostly all the time, we reward their excellence by letting them raft it again. When they don't, we punish them by making them redo it, which, oddly enough, they never seem too upset about.

Excellent time with experienced guides who gave good safety information and made first timers like myself feel confident and safe. They were also very funny and had lots of information about the things we saw along the river. Highly recommend this rafting company!

Seriously the best rafting experience in our 10 years living in Colorado. The owners were incredibly helpful and patient during booking, answering all of my questions. We had a group of ten ranging from first time rafting at 11 years old to very experienced at 59 years old. We were broken up into two rafts with very kind, personable and knowledgeable rafting guides. We had a blast, enjoying fantastic views. The customer service was what will take us back to Defiance Rafting.

We loved Defiance Rafting! Two of the four people in our group, it was their first time ever whitewater rafting and now they are hooked! Our entire group had a blast. The office staff were very helpful and friendly and made sure that we were properly prepared. Our tour guide Mike was outstanding and so much fun! We will definitely raft with Defiance and Mike again. :-)
