Overview

At Defiance Rafting, we expect our guides and their passengers to display perfect paddling form when rafting through the Class III–IV Shoshone Rapids. When they do, which is mostly all the time, we reward their excellence by letting them raft it again. When they don't, we punish them by making them redo it, which, oddly enough, they never seem too upset about.

Awesome experience. We have been before but this was our first trip with Defiance Rafting Co. Our guide Taylor was awesome. She knew how to set us up to take advantage of the full rapid. She was personable as were all the other guides on our trip. We will definitely return for another Defiance Rafting run.

We have not rafted with this group for several years, so we stopped by since in the area on vacation. The guide was fantastic (Scott) and made the trip fun for all in the raft. We did the double Shoshone & it was AWESOME!! Cannot say any more then that. It is worth the extra $10.00 (+/-). Highly recommend this group & you will not be disappointed!

Our family of 4 had SO MUCH FUN rafting the Double Shoshone! Our guide was Sam and he was so kind and made sure we made it back to land safely! Next time we are in Glenwood Springs, we will surely contact Defiance Rafting for another rafting experience!
