Great fun! Brought my work colleagues from around the globe - Jack did a great job sharing the history of the city, as well as a bit of humor and the food was AMAZING!

I recently did this tour with family and out of state friends and we had an excellent time! The food/restaurants along the way were all wonderful and offered tasty food and drinks. Our guide Ellen was very informative and provided great insights into the city and food. Even as someone local who knows the city and a few of the restaurants on the tour, I enjoyed this experience immensely.

We had a great time with Jack as he guided us through Providence!! Each restaurant offered a wonderful tasting from their menu!! I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the pizza at Plant City, since it wasn't a place I would have ever went to on my own! Geoff's Superlative Sandwiches gave me my favorite on the tour, the Godfather with homemade pickle! Will definitely be returning there!! Next, we stopped at a small Taiwanese place, which I can't remember the name of.....but we had some fried chicken and sweet potato fries accompanied by tea with bubbles!! Then we headed to Yoleni's where we were greeted by one of the owners who explained the small platter of Greek yumminess they gave us, the tzatziki sauce made with their homemade yogurt was the best I ever had!! We stopped at a small place called Ellies that gave us a Bouchon, which was AMAZING, which was coupled with cider and chai tea. Our last stop was the Malted Barley, where they gave us a homemade pretzal with apricot butter. We thoroughly enjoyed this and are planning on doing the Newport tour next!
