I was late and the guide Jenny did an excellent job of making sure I showed up. Overall this was an excellent food tour and would highly recommend it to anyone who is passionate about food and beer.

The tour guide was very good and explained the history of RI and Providence really well. Was entertaining as well. Dune Brothers Seafood: That was great with the clam cake and clam chowder. Delicious. Yolenis: The greek sampler was tasty. But wished this was paired with greek red wine. That was a miss. Ellies: We got a small brownie called a bouchon that was tasty. But wish they had given us a second item like the avocado toast and brie. Perhaps with a cafe au lait. Malted Barley: The fresh pretzel was yummy. But the flight of 4 tastings was very small quantity and I did not care for 2 of the 4 beers. Being a craft beer connosieur - I wish they gave be choice of what to order. Durk's BBQ: Cocktail was not good. And the quantity of food was limited. There was a brisket - but not also add a sausage or pulled pork or a piece of chicken? Kin: Southern cuisine. The desert with a biscuit was really good. The cocktail was avoidable. Would have love red wine with this desert. Overall I would say quantities of food was limited. Don't understand why - when we paid $90 for the tour with alcohol. And the portions of alcohol were tiny and the cocktails and beer were sub-par.

Thank you for taking our tour, we are glad to hear our guide was able to entertain and teach you a little bit about our RI history. I do find it regrettable that you would give a blow by blow account of each restaurant thus ruining any surprise for our future guests. Although some of our tastings change from time to time, I would have been happy to give you a thorough explanation to the choices had you reached out privately. It's possible maybe you lack experience in taking food tours but our tours are considered one of the better ones in the region and priced accordingly. It is meant to be a tasting tour that shares the background of the restaurants while giving you a sampling of what they have to offer. Your preferences are not an option due to our time and restaurant limitations. Further, based on our guests reviews there is enough food in its totality for a sizable lunch, but of course everyone has different levels of satisfaction. At the end of the day, we believe our tours are best enjoyed as a day of fun and entertainment with family and friends, both new and old while learning and sampling some of Rhode Island's unique eateries and getting insight into what they are offering so that hopefully you go back.

Great food tour highlighting some delicious local eateries. Our guide Katy was a lot of fun and filled us full of Providence history and culture. We will definitely go back to The Malted Barley - most amazing pretzel served with apricot butter for dipping and Durks BBQ for some more brisket.
