A wonderful and fun way to discover the Downcity area of the Providence dining scene. Our guide, Jenny, was terrific, full of interesting tidbits about the city and with great knowledge of all the restaurants we visited. Each of the 6 places offered creative and delicious tastings. Great variety, beautiful platings, and just plain scrumptious food. Even rain couldn't spoil this very fun outing.

Met up with Jenny Currier at Dune Brothers Seafood 7-27-18. Tour began promptly at noon visited 7 different place, each one with it's own flare. The food was excellant at each place.Jenny was a great guide giving us the history of the city as well as the background of each place we visited.We learned a lot about Providence enough to make us return in the future.We would recommend this tour to everyone. My wife and I spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon on the Downcity Food Tour. Paige was the guide and was enthusiastic, very helpful, and loved her adopted city of Providence. We weren't aware that the Downcity area is experiencing a rapid growth in new, original, locally-owned restaurants and food locations - not chains. A hip vibe in the area. We had 7 tastings of delicious foods - all of the store representatives clearly loved what they were doing. The tastings were eclectic from doughnuts and pretzels to very high end desserts. Well worth the price of the tour and we are thinking of now taking the Newport tour.
