The food selection and quantity was excellent. We have been on many food tours around Canada and the US and this was disappointing in the amount of information that was given out. I cannot blame the tour guide as she is probably following a script of the company however a lot more information could be given out about the restaurant seen in Providence, where food is sourced from, the history of the restaurant industry in Providence, etc. etc. A lot of dead time where the guide could’ve been talking and not just about herself

Thank you for taking our tour and and offering your feedback. We realize that many people take food tours today when they travel, every place and neighborhood has its unique story to tell, all in all it's a lot of information to cover while keeping everyone entertained and connected. I do know that our guides cover a lot of information during the course of our tours from history of the city, art installations, restaurant backgrounds, the food they will be served, landmarks including JWU and their contribution to the cities food scene, etc. Our guides are always open to questions guests may have, and they do their best to answer them, they actually are local food journalists or have worked in the local food scene for many years, so I'm sure they could have answered your questions. Ninety nine % of the time judging by our reviews for the last 9 yrs. we have been successful in meeting most expectations. We apologize if you had mixed feelings, it's hard to be everything to everyone, but I know it's important to our guides they do their best to cover as much as possible and ensure everyone enjoys themselves too.
