What To Expect
1
Coors Field
Built in 1995 in the heart of downtown Denver, Coors Field is home to our beloved Rockies and a must-see stop when visiting the Mile High City.
2
Dairy Block
This historic block, located in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, was once home to Windsor Dairy and is now a vibrant micro-district that boasts 15 shops, 19 restaurants, seven bars, a luxury coworking space, and a 172-room boutique hotel.
3
Denver Union Station
Denver Union Station is the cultural hub and the “crown jewel” of the city. The addition of world-class dining, shopping, and the award-winning Crawford Hotel has revitalized and transformed Denver Union Station far beyond its humble beginnings.
4
Cherry Cricket
This award-winning local spot has been serving delicious burgers, Colorado green chili and local beers since 1945.
5
Mcgregor Square
In the heart of Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo), adjacent to Coors Field, McGregor Square spans an entire downtown block. This new development includes The Rally Hotel, residences, restaurants, retail outlets, and expansive food-hall, all circling a 17,000 square foot plaza complete with a stadium-sized LED screen.
6
El Chapultepec
Denver's oldest jazz club closed during the COVID-19 pandemic but still sits in a historic building near Coors Field.
7
LoDo
Short for Lower Downtown, LoDo is the heart and center of the Mile High City and contains some of Denver's best local restaurants and bars.
8
The Wynkoop
Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub. For almost three decades they have been brewing handcrafted beer in a modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. Over the years the neighborhood has transformed, and Colorado’s craft beer industry has exploded.

If you're looking for a good variety of foods coupled with spot-on history and enlightenment of the local scene, this tour is for you. We sampled pizza, tacos, appetizers, brats, and desserts. This tour focused on establishments in the vicinity of Union Station which is loaded with attractions that one can take advantage of before or after the tour. Austin did a superb job of giving us the "background story" on each tour venue, as well as the surrounding area; e.g. do you know the significance of the line of purple seats in Coors Stadium? He even took us into the pizzeria kitchen to explain how the specialty pizza is made (kudos to the restaurant owners as well!). The tour is on level ground and covered roughly six blocks over the 3 hours. The pace was just right, I thought. It was evident that Austin had done his homework and had a rapport with the establishments which made the pace go smoothly and without stress. Beverages (other than water) are not included with the base tour price, but they do offer a package which includes beverages at 3 of the stops. This package can be ordered right before the tour, if you like. Also, it is quite easy to purchase a beverage of your choice at any of the venues. I recommend waiting until the day of the tour to see what is offered in the package and make your choice then. If you are near downtown Denver and have 3 hours to spend in the afternoon, take this tour!
