What To Expect
1
Coors Field
Built in 1995 in the heart of downtown Denver, Coors Field is home to our beloved Rockies and a must-see stop when visiting the Mile High City.
2
Dairy Block
This historic block, located in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, was once home to Windsor Dairy and is now a vibrant micro-district that boasts 15 shops, 19 restaurants, seven bars, a luxury coworking space, and a 172-room boutique hotel.
3
Denver Union Station
Denver Union Station is the cultural hub and the “crown jewel” of the city. The addition of world-class dining, shopping, and the award-winning Crawford Hotel has revitalized and transformed Denver Union Station far beyond its humble beginnings.
4
Cherry Cricket
This award-winning local spot has been serving delicious burgers, Colorado green chili and local beers since 1945.
5
Mcgregor Square
In the heart of Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo), adjacent to Coors Field, McGregor Square spans an entire downtown block. This new development includes The Rally Hotel, residences, restaurants, retail outlets, and expansive food-hall, all circling a 17,000 square foot plaza complete with a stadium-sized LED screen.
6
El Chapultepec
Denver's oldest jazz club closed during the COVID-19 pandemic but still sits in a historic building near Coors Field.
7
LoDo
Short for Lower Downtown, LoDo is the heart and center of the Mile High City and contains some of Denver's best local restaurants and bars.
8
The Wynkoop
Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub. For almost three decades they have been brewing handcrafted beer in a modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. Over the years the neighborhood has transformed, and Colorado’s craft beer industry has exploded.

What a great experience - we are locals and we’re totally going to do a 2nd tour! Tasters at 7 spots, plus some drinks, and we found some spots we’d love to return to. Our guide Brian was fantastic - funny, charming, and taught us long-term residents some new tidbits! My favorite was the margarita flight at Blue Agave - the jalapeño cucumber one was delish with the fish taco. Would definitely recommend this tour as a fun way to explore Denver!

I'd have given this five stars because Sarah, our guide, was excellent, but there was at least one stop where we basically got a cracker with a dab of cheese and jam. C'mon, DDFT, you get that at Safeway for nothing! That is not an offering commensurate with the amount of money one pays for this tour. That said, the other five stops were diverse and delicious. Not so much walking that my 76-year-old mother couldn't keep up, but it would have been nice if DDFT built in some time--perhaps at the Milk Market--for a potty break. I enjoyed the demographics represented in my group. Not everybody was a hipster or foodie and we all enjoyed each other's company. I think Sarah is excellent at facilitating a happy group dynamic. A fun experience--especially after I finally seized an opportunity to pee.

Thanks for your feedback, Jill! We appreciate your input and are always looking to improve our experiences. While there are restrooms at all six of our tasting locations, we'll be sure our guides make a stronger point of identifying those for guests. At Mercantile, we do feature a lighter tasting. The cheese served there is a fresh sheep's milk cheese made on a local farm owned by a James Beard award-winning chef, but I understand that you wanted something more substantial at that stop. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your time with Sarah, and thank you again for joining us!

My partner and I used this food tour to get acquainted with Denver on our first day. Our guide Chris adds a lot of his personal flair to the tour, and it's quite informative. Would recommend to anyone visiting Denver or loves food.
