What To Expect
1
Coors Field
Built in 1995 in the heart of downtown Denver, Coors Field is home to our beloved Rockies and a must-see stop when visiting the Mile High City.
2
Dairy Block
This historic block, located in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, was once home to Windsor Dairy and is now a vibrant micro-district that boasts 15 shops, 19 restaurants, seven bars, a luxury coworking space, and a 172-room boutique hotel.
3
Denver Union Station
Denver Union Station is the cultural hub and the “crown jewel” of the city. The addition of world-class dining, shopping, and the award-winning Crawford Hotel has revitalized and transformed Denver Union Station far beyond its humble beginnings.
4
Cherry Cricket
This award-winning local spot has been serving delicious burgers, Colorado green chili and local beers since 1945.
5
Mcgregor Square
In the heart of Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo), adjacent to Coors Field, McGregor Square spans an entire downtown block. This new development includes The Rally Hotel, residences, restaurants, retail outlets, and expansive food-hall, all circling a 17,000 square foot plaza complete with a stadium-sized LED screen.
6
El Chapultepec
Denver's oldest jazz club closed during the COVID-19 pandemic but still sits in a historic building near Coors Field.
7
LoDo
Short for Lower Downtown, LoDo is the heart and center of the Mile High City and contains some of Denver's best local restaurants and bars.
8
The Wynkoop
Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub. For almost three decades they have been brewing handcrafted beer in a modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. Over the years the neighborhood has transformed, and Colorado’s craft beer industry has exploded.

We paid the extra fee to have the drinks included with our food stops and were not disappointed. Its been a week or so since we went on the tour and I can still taste some of the great food we stopped at! I would recommend taking this tour on the first day in town so you know where you want to go back to! Super friendly and fun guides, the group was a riot, and the walk between places was a good distance (not too far but far enough to help digest some of the food!) No one left hungry thats for sure!

Chris was an excellent host on our food tour during our first trip to Denver. He was enthusiastic and informative about Denver's history and hottest foodie spots. The six places we visited were high quality, and we loved everything we tried! The tour is well-planned as executed, as every restaurant had our food ready when we walked in the door. We will definitely be back to Denver and would absolutely recommend this tour!

This was our first time in Denver, and somehow, none of our friends who had lived in Denver or who had visited Denver had any solid food recommendations . . . so other than bison, I had basically zero idea what the area food scene was all about. When we started out on the Downtown Denver Food Tour and our guide, Lisa, mentioned that our first stop was going to be the oldest established restaurant on the tour at a whopping . . . 11 years?! . . . I was kinda bummed, because I thought that maybe we were just going to be visiting restaurants that were hard up for business and said OK to being on a food tour because they could use the additional income. I am happy to report that I was incorrect in this assumption. The reason we visited new-ish restaurants is because the Denver food scene is evolving and expanding, and exciting things are happening at restaurants that are just opening now, that are taking advantage of farm-to-table and nose-to-tail trends and building upon them, all to tasty results. And it was fun to experience a variety of these in one afternoon. Lisa was the perfect guide: lively, considerate, and really easy to talk to. She has been in Denver for "only" 4 years, but as she pointed out, the Ballpark area has undergone phenomenal change within just the past 12 months, and no question our group asked went unanswered. Highly recommended!
