Coors Field

Built in 1995 in the heart of downtown Denver, Coors Field is home to our beloved Rockies and a must-see stop when visiting the Mile High City.

Dairy Block

This historic block, located in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, was once home to Windsor Dairy and is now a vibrant micro-district that boasts 15 shops, 19 restaurants, seven bars, a luxury coworking space, and a 172-room boutique hotel.

Denver Union Station

Denver Union Station is the cultural hub and the “crown jewel” of the city. The addition of world-class dining, shopping, and the award-winning Crawford Hotel has revitalized and transformed Denver Union Station far beyond its humble beginnings.

Cherry Cricket

This award-winning local spot has been serving delicious burgers, Colorado green chili and local beers since 1945.

Mcgregor Square

In the heart of Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo), adjacent to Coors Field, McGregor Square spans an entire downtown block. This new development includes The Rally Hotel, residences, restaurants, retail outlets, and expansive food-hall, all circling a 17,000 square foot plaza complete with a stadium-sized LED screen.

El Chapultepec

Denver's oldest jazz club closed during the COVID-19 pandemic but still sits in a historic building near Coors Field.

LoDo

Short for Lower Downtown, LoDo is the heart and center of the Mile High City and contains some of Denver's best local restaurants and bars.

The Wynkoop

Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub. For almost three decades they have been brewing handcrafted beer in a modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. Over the years the neighborhood has transformed, and Colorado’s craft beer industry has exploded.

Can't say enough about the wonderful food tour we took with Chris Iacono this week. Our family of 7 adults start every trip with a food tour in new cities and this was top notch. We were able to walk through a kitchen, meet some chef/owners and sit at all six locations to hear about the delicious food and the local history. Chris arranged vegetarian options for three of us and there was plenty of food. Thank you Chris for a fantastic afternoon!

Chris Iacono was an excellent and fun guide for our tour last week. Not only is he very knowledgable about food, he incorporates Denver history and little factoids into his presentation. Walking was very easy (less than a mile) and time in each place was just enough. Although I live in Denver, this was my first time doing this. It gave me some great ideas of where to eat and we will definitely bring other friends and visitors along for another tour.

We began our day in LoDo, just a few blocks from Coors Field. If you couldn't tell already, we learned equally as much about the nomenclature of Denver's districts as we did about Denver's unique and diverse restaurants! Lisa was both knowledgable and affable, making for the perfect tour guide for our experience. We had the opportunity to visit several locations: Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria Butcher's Bistro Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs Kachina Cantina Mercantile Dining & Provisions Ultreia The tour itself spanned right around 1-2 miles, which provided the perfect opportunity to burn off some calories as well as work up an appetite for the next stop! All around, I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone visiting Denver!
