Our journey begins at Trappers Alley in Greektown, a historic hub once central to Detroit’s fur trade. Its lively atmosphere and unique architecture set the tone for our adventure. Next, we’ll visit Astoria Bakery, a local favorite offering a taste of Greektown’s charm with its array of irresistible baked goods.

Heading near the Shinola Hotel, enjoy expertly crafted coffee and creative desserts in a neighborhood blending Detroit’s industrial roots with modern flair. In Parker’s Alley, tucked behind the hotel, discover a boutique chocolatier crafting unique confections in this revitalized urban gem.

Our next stop is Cannelle, a patisserie inspired by French baking, where exquisite pastries showcase Detroit’s elevated culinary scene. We’ll end at Campus Martius, the vibrant heart of downtown, where the city’s rich history meets its modern energy—a perfect conclusion to this flavorful exploration. We'll start our tour in Greektown and explore the surrounding area.

We'll walk through downtown Detroit chatting on history, art, architecture and Detroit's comeback over the last several decades.

Campus Martius Park

We'll finish the tour here and enjoy the park and any local activities happening.

This was such a fun experience! As someone who grew up in Detroit my whole life I had no idea about the history behind this beautiful city. We learned so much and our tour guide was so knowledgeable and so personable and we got to eat some delicious pastries along the way! Would definitely love to do again in the future

The Detroit tour was a lot of fun and very informative! We heard about bakeries and coffee spots that we never even knew existed, and Jason was a wonderful tour guide- very warm, personable and patient. We also learned history and facts about the city that we didnt know as well, and that was amazing. The desserts we sampled were all very good and we cant wait to try this tour in other cities too! Keep up the great work Jaosn 😀
