My wife and I booked this because it sounded interesting. Kelly, our guide, was exactly where he said he would be at the appointed time. He also had headsets and a mic so we could hear him talk as Freemont Street is noisy at night. It was really interesting seeing behind the veil of time on Freemont Street and learning the history of the buildings, people, and area. Although the tour was supposed to be 2 hours, it ended up being 2 1/2, and we enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend this tour if you are interested in learning how Las Vegas began and developed pre-Strip, and beyond.

We booked with Las Vegas Walking Tours because we were going to be downtown anyway and wanted to find out a little more about the area. Our guide, Kelly, was absolutely amazing. He knew the history of Las Vegas from start to finish and was very entertaining the whole time. He gave us great tips on places to go and things to do in the downtown area -- which is well worth visiting. Most people don't go downtown, and they're missing out. LVWT gives each guest a little earpiece so you can always hear your guide over the background noise, which is a very nice touch. Two tips -- bring water (it's Las Vegas, after all) and bring some shades (you're not in the sun that much while you're on the tour, but again, it's Vegas).

Booked this tour out of curiosity. We had a great time. Downtown has changed a lot si CE I was last there over 15 years ago. The tour was really informative. It took you from the distant past and origins of the city to the present day innovations. Our tour guide gave us great dining recommendations and suggestions on what to see after the tour. My friend and I enjoyed the atmosphere downtown so much we ditched our fancy hotel on the strip with its stumbling drunk heards of bachelorette parties and booked our last night on Fremont St. Sure, it's a little bit sketchy but much more real and much more fun! If we hadn't taken the tour we would have remained in the strip "bubble". Thanks Las Vegas walking tours!
