I was visiting Los Angeles and came across this tour. I was interested in exploring downtown LA, and love good food, so it seemed like a perfect match. Boy was I right! We went to many great places, from French bakeries to BBQ joints to hole-in-the-wall diners to taco stands. All were amazing. My personal favorite: grilled cheese at DTLA. Tour guide Mike was funny, well-informed, and a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour!

Had a blast on our tour with Mike Wamser! I have lived in Los Angeles for a few years, and we visited sites that I didn't even know existed! Every food stop was fantastic! I don't know that I could choose a favorite place. It was just the right amount of stops and Mike shared alot of interesting facts about the city along the way. I would even recommend this tour for locals who rarely get to the downtown area. I can't wait to go back to downtown LA to revisit some of our stops. Thanks Mike!!

This was one heck of a great time! Having never visited L.A., and really only being familiar with Hollywood, I didn't have high expectations for the downtown area, but boy, was I wrong. This tour was filling for both the body AND mind! Our guide, Michael, was a real highlight. He was incredibly personable, well spoken and knowledgable. He had an answer to every one of our questions, was very attentive and had an incredible memory for people, buildings and events. He really helped us learn all there was to know about the downtown area of the city. I've had some bad tour guides before The food was great, too, of course. We stopped at (if my noodle serves me right) 9 different food spots, each one with their own historical relevance to the downtown area. Every stop was delicious and varied, from barbecue to macaroons -- YUM! Once again, Michael was not only able to impart some sort of history to each stop, but he was also extremely efficient in getting the food to us quickly, working around my girlfriend's allergies, and making sure any needs we had at each stop were met. Not to mention, everything was FILLING. As a recommendation for the mangement -- maybe provide some wheelchairs by the end of the tour!!! I would definitely recommend this tour and Michael. All around a great experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
