We were travelling with a group and someone else had made the arrangements for this tour, so I thought it was just visiting restaurants. What a pleasant surprise! It was so much more than that and we all loved it. Dannette was our guide and a most capable guide she was. Lots of history at her fingertips and lots of good stories about Mobile. So very interesting! We stopped at 5 restaurants - The Royal Scam, Von's Bistro, Wintzell's Oyster House, Moe's Original BBQ, and Heroes. Also A & M Peanut Shop, a Mobile fixture for over 70 years and Three Georges candy shop..that's been around over 100 years. Now that's real history! We had a chance to sit down at each restaurant to enjoy a small portion of their specialty and we heard a lot of history during the walk. The whole tour was about 3 hours long, but the time flew by. In between stops, we visited a few other points of interest in the historical district. I can easily recommend this tour, even though I don't like oysters. The rest of it was fabulous!

This tour is definitely worth the price! Excellent food, knowledgeable guide and very fun tour. We recently moved here and learned so much about Mobile! Highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Great eats, coupled with lots of interesting facts about the role of food in Mobile’s history. Enough food for a very satisfying dinner and four locations also served alcohol.
