Ryan was a great guide! It was a fun small group. Weather was perfect and food was delicious. I have lived in Mobile most of my life and learned a lot of new things about our city.

My wife and I enjoyed all the different foods (except she's not into oysters) while we learned interesting things on our first visit to Mobile. We had the best gumbo, great panini's, perfect wontons, yummy chocolate, various preparations of oysters, spicy dip pita bread, and peanuts in the home of Mardi Gras. We thought it was well worth it.

There are some really great stops on this tour, but the layout of the tour itself is very poor. There is a peanut shop and a candy shop on this tour, but they're right across the street from each other, and the visits are crammed together and seem like one stop instead of two. You walk blocks and blocks out of the way to go to an oyster house and then walk blocks and blocks back for a few last stops before the tour is over. Chris is a great historian and very friendly, but we spent an obscene amount of time as certain stops, very poor time management. The tour itself was too large to get to know people well, too many people in the group. A good tour, but needs some tweaking.

Hey Carol, I do want to apologize for not quite exceeding your expectations on our tour. I did try to squeeze the peanut and candy shop together that day due to the stormy weather that was approaching us and it got us ahead of schedule for our next few stops. That was 100% my fault and a lesson learned. Please know, I have personally spent much time and consideration into planning every aspect and every single minute of our tour experience, so your feedback is very valuable to me. If we continue to get feedback that 1.4 miles is too much walking, 13 people is too large of a group, and 20 minutes at each restaurant is too long we will absolutely stay open minded to that and pivot to our customers needs. I really enjoyed my time with you and your family and again thank you for your feedback.
