Disappointed we booked tour on a Monday. Two of the stops were not opened. Lack of communication? Too bad we didnā€™t get to all the restaurants.

Great trip to downtown Phoenix to learn more about it and eat great food. Lots of food and a chance to meet new people.

Peter was our guide for the afternoon. The tour takes you walking past many of the historical buildings in downtown and Peter does a good job of sharing the buildings stories. There are many stops along the way to sample local restaurants dishes. Our first stop was Chico Malo for a margarita and chicken birria taco. We also had pizza that was delicious, local doughnut shop, Bosa, pad Thai at Thai Basil and ice cream at The Yard. Come hungry for this tour, there is a lot. It was an enjoyable afternoon and a very good way to acclimate to downtown for future afternoons or evenings in this area.
