I have been on a lot of walking and eating tours. I enjoyed the history in downtown Phoenix. Our guide also gave some suggestions on free museums in the downtown area. There a couple of things I did not like about this tour. Two locations had food as family style. So if one person takes to much food there is not much left for some of the other people. We stopped at the Cornish Pasty Company, The Strand, Chico Malo, Thai Basil and finished where we started at the Phoenix Market. At each stop we got a sample of what the restaurants have to offer and a history of the restaurant. As we walked from location to location, we got a history lesson of the downtown area. At the Phoenix market we had our choice of cookies. I did notice on the tour guide's shirt there was a saying on the back tips are appreciated. I should be given a choice if I want to tip or not. We spent about 15-20 minutes at each place. The guide did give us a 5 minute warning before we left each location

We are happy to hear you enjoyed it, we love to feed our guest and allow try a variety of food. Some of our restaurants bring out 2-3 different dishes and we feel its easiest to do family style. That way everyone gets the opportunity to try everything and usually, we are left with lots of leftovers. We joke about experiencing a food coma towards the end of this tour and our guides always love sharing all the great history Phoenix has to offer. We also never require anyone to tip our tour guides, we just rather let people know its appreciated without a tour guide having to mention it and make anyone feel uncomfortable. Hope to see you guys again on one of the other tours we offer!

When we travel we enjoy going on food tours to get a sampling of what a city has to offer. We did this food tour about 6 years ago and decided to do it again. Our guide Jessica was fun and very knowledgeable. The folks who made up our group on this particular tour were well traveled and pleasant to spend time with. We stopped at the Cornish Pasty Company, The Strand, Chico Malo, Thai Basil and finished where we started at the Phoenix Market. At each stop we got a sample of what the restaurants have to offer. As we walked from location to location, Jessica gave a history lesson of the downtown area. It's totally worth your time to check it out.
