Wine tasting at one of the wonderful tasting rooms in El Paseo! During COVID-19 we visit 5-6 different tasting locations (food from 6-7 local spots), which also includes 1 wine tasting room and an alcoholic beverage l at another location. Tastings and tasting locations are subject to change.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Visit the outside of the Courthouse and if there is time, The Sunken Gardens

Arlington Theatre

Learn about the history the The Arlington Theatre. We do NOT go inside the theatre.

The Granada Theatre

Learn about the history of The Granada Theatre. We do NOT go into the theatre.

A few friends and I decided to take my wife and sister in law out to Santa Barbara for her birthday and came across this food tour in my quest to make it a memorable one!! Savor Santa Barbara Food Tour is on spot!! Erin our hostess with the mostess was very knowledgeable in all the city had to offer!! She is an incredible guide and has a GREAT sense of humor!!! The restaurants were GREAT, the beer was COLD and the wine was DELICIOUS!!! Hands down Erin and the tour made it a memorable birthday for both my wife and sister in law!!! Thanks Again!!!

We were on a cruise and Santa Barbara was one of our stops. I would suggest that anyone who stops here should make it a priority to take the Savor Santa Barbara Food Tour. I can honestly say this was one of the best excursions on our trip! This was not a scheduled excursion by Princess but instead researched and scheduled by one of our group of six. It would be great if Princess chose to add it as one of the options! Erin was willing to set up the tour to meet our time schedule. The food and drink were fabulous and the knowledge we gained from Erin about the city and the surrounding area was beyond all our expectations. We were a group of six friends and family and we had the best time learning about and tasting the local food and drink. If you are on a cruise or just passing through be sure to schedule a tour, you will not be disappointed.

In wanting to get out of town, I looked for wine tasting tours on Trip Advisor. While I found Wine Tours, the Savor Santa Barbara Food Tour including Wine tasting and food tasting. After going, I would recommend this to anyone; it was excellent. Erin, our guide, proved to be an excellent hostess as well as very knowledgable about Santa Barbara. I learned about the city, foods I would never thought of trying and beer and wine and how to evaluate them. As the start of the tour is one block from the train station and 5 blocks from the end of the tour, I would highly recommend taking the train to Santa Barbara, as it makes the trip effortless. It is definitely a great weekend getaway for only $80, which includes all the food and the tour.
