Wine tasting at one of the wonderful tasting rooms in El Paseo! During COVID-19 we visit 5-6 different tasting locations (food from 6-7 local spots), which also includes 1 wine tasting room and an alcoholic beverage l at another location. Tastings and tasting locations are subject to change.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Visit the outside of the Courthouse and if there is time, The Sunken Gardens

Arlington Theatre

Learn about the history the The Arlington Theatre. We do NOT go inside the theatre.

The Granada Theatre

Learn about the history of The Granada Theatre. We do NOT go into the theatre.

You'll be a fool to miss this if you like food and drink. Erin was fun and knowledgable and Ed and family from NJ who were on the tour also where great fun, you will start as strangers, end as friends. 3.5hrs sounds long but the visits are well spaced and varied which makes the time fly by. It's also a great way to explore and get your bearings in a new town. One small improvement and a trick that may have been missed is they hold a farmers market in state street, which you criss cross thru tour, it's excellent. We would have substituted one stop (probably the cheese stop, which in itself was a substitute) to have walked thru market with guide, many types of local produce we have never seen, like lime caviar, Could you do this food tour or any food tour yourself? Probably, but what you are buying here is the local knowledge which takes the hit and miss out of it, adds in a good dash of fun and all rolled, wrapped and served up in a great experience. (Brits, be quick if you want to give a gratuity, we wanted to but Erin was gone when left)

My mother and I wanted to explore the central coast a bit after dropping my daughter off at college. We spent time driving, eating, wine tasting and generally relaxing through Solvang, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara. This tour was the best time and money spent the entire week. I will be checking back periodically to see when they add additional tours to drive up specifically for them! Great job!
