Our most popular tour and it often sells out! Hosted by a local expert, you will learn about the fascinating history, folklore, culture, famous founders & current residents, the food scene and current events. This is a great experience for locals, those that have recently relocated, tourists, corporate retreats, birthday & other celebrations and bachelorette parties!

Tour groups of 10 or more are considered private tours-please call for booking. Our restaurant partners need plenty of advance notice for reserving tables for large groups. We are happy to personally work out the details on these experiences for you!

My mom and I went on the taste of Sarasota downtown tour today and had the most amazing time! Our tour guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Sarasota and every restaurant he took us to. I have lived in Sarasota for 31 years and learned so much about my hometown on this tour. I loved it! The food was phenomenal at every stop. This was such a fun activity to do with my mom and I can’t wait to do this tour again with my husband. Thank you Sunset Food Tours for the perfect day!
