"Drink sir, is a great provoker..."

The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+, photo ID and proof of COVID vaccination is required at the door.

Imagine a somewhat scripted “improvisational” parody of Macbeth, performed with forced bathroom-sexual jokes. Throw in a puppet, a Cartman imitation, and then, when all of that fails, streak the “drunk” guy naked through the audience. It’s as stupid as it sounds and as funny as a wet fart in church. And, by the way, the drunk “actor” wasn’t even a character of Macbeth; he’s just a provocateur, and not a very funny one. And I don’t think he was really drunk. Waste of time and not a cheap ticket.

I can tell that those involved are good actors but I felt like I was watching a show that they were literally making as they went. I really like the concept and if they scripted it better it could be really funny. Much of the time they resorted to silly slapstick. Wanted to love it :/

Drinking and Shakespeare? What could be a better combination? We attended as part of my daughter's 21st birthday celebration, and she was picked by the cast to be the official "Tequila Tester"! Great drinks and snacks and the show is absolutely hilarious. Highly recommended!!
